Tennis Seniors Tournaments

A large number of Seniors tournaments are now played in Australia each year. Seniors tennis competitions are divided into five-year age groups starting at 35 years and tournaments comprise a mixture of round-robin and knock-out type of events.  Each State and Territory will have timely information on the list of tournaments available and each year, Tennis Seniors Australia collates this information into a tournament calendar.

A number of these tournaments are endorsed by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and are used in determining player rankings and are administered according to the ITF Seniors Regulations. These rules are reviewed and updated yearly by the ITF Seniors Committee members, who attend and compete in Seniors tournaments throughout the year.
