The 2019 Australian Seniors Team Carnival was held in Shepparton from 6-12 January and Individual Championships are continuing this week. The Annual TSA Awards for 2018 were announced at the Carnival Dinner/Dance held on the Friday evening   ACT was well represented in these awards with Ros Balodis again awarded the Player of the Year and  Peter Breugelmans the Administrator of the Year.  Congratulations to Ros and Peter. More on the Team Carnival...


The 2020 Australian Seniors Team Carnival and Individual Championships will be hosted by TSWA from 5-17 January at Busselton and Bunbury Tennis Courts. For more information go to


Congratulations to Helen Holcombe and her partner Reinhilde Adams from Germany on winning the  womens 65 doubles at the World Titles held in Umag, Croatia in September.


The first Sunday round robin tournament for 2019 is scheduled for  10 February 2019 - venue to be advised. Start accumulating points for the Venezuela Cups.  There will be the usual prizes for the winners and runners-up as well as refreshments afterwards.  The cost will be $10.00. The Seniors World Team Championships will be held on Har-Tru courts over 6 venues for the Seniors World Team Venues in Palm Beach Gardens & Boca Raton, Florida, USA from 21-26 April and followed by the Individual competition taking place over 4 venues in Palm Beach Gardens from 27 April to 4 May.

Congratulations to Ros Balodis and Narelle Raftery  on leading their teams to gold and silver respectively at the World Seniors Titles from 12-18 August in Ulm. Germany.  Ros was captain of the Alice Marble Cup (60+) team and Narelle was captain of the Maureen Connelly Cup (55+) team. more...
