on selection in the Australian Von Cramm Cup (60+) team
(John as captain) to play in the 2010 ITF Super Senior
Championships in Turkey. and to Colin Holgate on
selection as reserve for the Austria Cup (55+) team
for the ITF Seniors Championship[s in Mexico.

The next Sunday round robin tournament will be held at
9.30am on
21 March 2010 on the modgrass courts at the National Sports Club, Lyneham. The cost will be $7.00
for members and $10.00 for non-members. To

If you put your name down and find you cannot play on the day, please notify one
of the organisers so that the others players are not inconvenienced.
The 40th ACT Seniors Tennis Tournament will be held from 2-5 April 2010
(Easter). There will Championships Events (ITF Grade3) as well as
Non-Championship and Round Robin events. These include special events for
players who are not regular tournament players and less formal women's singles
events. Entries close on Friday 19 March. Don't forget to
register for the Saturday night dinner dance. For further

Tennis Seniors ACT will be celebrating it's 40 years in
existence in 2010 with a dinner on Friday 7 May. It was the first seniors/veterans organisations to be
formed in Australia. The first president was Bob Thornton. The dinner will
be at the Southern Cross Club West in Catchpole Street, Jamison at 7.30 for
8.00pm. We would like to get as many past and present players along for the
celebration. The cost of the dinner will be $45 per person for a three course
meal and tea/coffee and after dinner mints. Names should be given to Julie
