The 48th ACT Seniors Tennis Tournament will be held over Easter from 30 March to 2 April at the Canberra Tennis Centre, Lyneham.  There will be Championship events (ITF2) which require players to have an IPIN and there will be round robin events which do not require an IPIN.  Singles, doubles and mixed doubles events are available at both levels.  Entries have now closed.


Any one thinking of going to the Tennis Seniors Queensland Tennyson Tournament held in Brisbane from 13-16 April the closing date for entries is now Monday 26 March.


Ros Balodis has added another award to her cabinet, the TSA Player of the Year for 2017.  At the same time, Pat Moloney  was awarded the TSA Administrator of the Year.  Congratulations to Ros and Pat.    more


Congratulations to Heather McKay on adding an Order of Australia to her AM and MBE in the Australia Day Honours albeit for her contribution to squash.


Congratulations to our Treasurer, Peter Breugelmans  He was awarded life membership of Tennis ACT at their AGM on 13 December 2017.


Congratulations to Ros Balodis on winning the Australian Tennis Award for the Most Outstanding 35+ Tennis Senior for 2017.  Ros received the award at the Australian Tennis Awards ceremony at the Crown Palladium, Melbourne on 27 November.  This is her third Australian Tennis Award in this category.   more


The TSACT Christmas Dinner was held at the Yowani Country Club on Saturday 2 December. 

The winners of the 2017 Frank Thornton Player of the Year and the 2017 George Henshilwood Award were announced.  Congratulations to Leonie Ainsworth and Colin Lyons respectively.   more


The 2018 Australian Seniors Team Carnival and Individual Championships were held on the Gold Coast from 7-19 January. Our 55 womens team won their division and the ladies also came home with three singles titles in the second week.  more...

Membership fees were due on 1 July for 2017/18.  The membership fee is $20.  However a pro rata rate of $10 applies for new members from 1 January 2018.  more..
